Privacy Policy

Privacy

This is a music blog, not a business that trades in your information. We keep the amount of data we touch as small as the setup allows. Here is the honest picture of what happens when you visit.

Analytics

We run basic, aggregate analytics so we can see which posts people actually read and roughly how many visitors come by. This tells us page views and general trends. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not try to find out.

Cookies

A few small cookies may be stored in your browser to keep the site working smoothly and to support the analytics above. Nothing here follows you around the wider internet. If you clear cookies or block them in your browser settings, the blog will still work fine for reading.

Comments and the newsletter

If you leave a comment, we keep what you wrote along with the name and any details you chose to enter. If you sign up for the newsletter, we hold your email address for that one purpose: sending you an occasional note when there is a new release or a new post. There is an unsubscribe link in every send, and using it removes you for good. We do not collect email addresses in any other way.

Sharing

We do not sell or hand over your details to anyone. The only exception is the ordinary infrastructure that keeps a website running, such as our hosting and email tools, which process this data on our behalf and nothing more.

Getting in touch

If you want to know what we hold about you, or want it deleted, send us a message and we will sort it out. It is a short list, so this is usually quick.
